Membership

Membership in the Schaeffer Surgical Society is open to all graduates and faculty of the surgical residency programs at Lehigh Valley Hospital, including the former Allentown (General) Hospital and the Allentown & Sacred Heart Hospital Center. The society has been created to engender an esprit de corps among past and present members of the surgical community at Lehigh Valley Hospital and provide a forum for both fellowship and the exchange of scientific information. Members are invited to attend the annual events planned for the Schaeffer Surgical Society including a Resident Research Day and a reception at the American College of Surgeons Clinical Congress.
